State Licenses & Availability
How licensing works in our marketplace model, how to verify any lender, and why availability differs by state.
Last Updated: June 11, 20261. How Licensing Works In Our Model
VANSi is not a lender and does not originate loans. The independent lending partners in our network are responsible for holding the licenses, registrations, and approvals required in each state where they offer credit. The lender named in your offer — and in your final agreement — is the licensed party for your transaction.
2. State Availability
Cash advance products are not available in all states, and the amounts, rates, and terms that can be offered differ by state law. When you apply, your state of residence determines which lending partners and products you can see — you will only be shown offers that are available where you live.
3. Verifying A Lender's License
Before signing, you can verify any lender through official channels:
- NMLS Consumer Access: nmlsconsumeraccess.org — the free national database of licensed financial services companies.
- Your state financial regulator: each state's banking or financial services department maintains license lookups and accepts consumer inquiries.
- Your offer documents: the lender's legal name and license details appear in your agreement — confirm they match before you sign.
4. State-Specific Disclosures
Certain states require additional disclosures, fee schedules, or notices, which your lending partner will provide within your offer and agreement where applicable. Read these alongside the federal Truth in Lending disclosures that accompany every offer.
5. Questions Or Complaints
